The study of music is its own reward. It also improves our ability to learn new things. Lauren teaches the language of music using the guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. Skills you will learn include music theory, ear training, harmony, rhythmic and harmonic dictation, and transcription (listening to a recording and writing the music you hear), and reading music. No musical experience is necessary to begin lessons. Lauren's qualifications include 30 years of performance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from St. Cloud State University (Minnesota, USA).
